STAGE TO STUDIO
Philip Harden Audio is a Brisbane based PA hire and live recording service. I believe that recording your performance can be so useful that I will always be prepared to record your show at no extra charge*. After the show you can decide what you want to do with the files. There are a number of options for what to do. If you just want them for reflection and rehearsal I can do a rough mixdown and have that back to you in a day or two or we can take them into the studio and use them to create a live album.
*No extra charge means I will record the show with the equipment provided with the PA hire. Not included are any extra services such as studio time for mixing and editing. These services can be negotiated after the event and will be treated as a separate transaction. Transferal of the original files from the event is available on request at no extra charge.
Mobile recording services that aren't booked as part of a PA hire event are a separate booking and are not free.

Sometimes our best performances happen on stage and it's hard to replicate that feeling in the studio but certain other elements of the song can still be re-tracked or added to.

Put them on a cd to give to potential clients or venues

Missing a band member and can't find a replacement? Substitute their part with a backing track recorded at a previous show or in the studio.

Play with your whole band even when only the singer can make the gig

I can use recordings from previous shows to run a virtual soundcheck prior to the bands actual soundcheck to save time (works better in the same venue)

Record a quick line check and one song in soundcheck and then I can do a virtual soundcheck while the band relaxes in the greenroom or has a meal.
